Join us for TD Tree Day on September 21, 2024 from 9am to 12pm at the Riverview Park and Zoo to plant 300 trees and shrubs along the shoreline of the Otonabee River to protect water quality, prevent erosion and enhance habitat.

Join us for TD Tree Day on September 21, 2024 from 9am to 12pm at the Riverview Park and Zoo to plant 300 trees and shrubs along the shoreline of the Otonabee River to protect water quality, prevent erosion and enhance habitat.
Shovels and gloves will be provided but please bring your own if you have them. Please wear closed toed shoes or boots, bring water, and dress for the weather as this event is rain or shine!
To get to the planting site, use the main entrance at Water Street and Carnegie Avenue, and follow the signs to the lower area of the zoo and park near Picnic Shelter #1.
TD Tree Days is the flagship volunteer and urban greening program of the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation. Since this program was launched in 2010, volunteers have planted over 520,000 native trees and shrubs across Canada and within the U.S. communities where they operate.
